After presenting its plug-in petrol-electric hybrid Cross Coupé concept at Tokyo last year, Volkswagen will unveil a new Cross Coupé concept at the upcoming International Geneva Motor Show.
Coming with two electric motors that manage to reach a fuel consumption of 1.8 liters/100 km (which is around 157 mpg), the new Cross Coupé features a 2.0 TDI diesel engine unlike the other Cross Coupé concept that had a TSI turbo petrol engine. This also means that the CO2 emissions are reduced being only of 46grams per kilometer.
The car is 4345 mm long, 1868 mm wide with a height of 1523 mm and a wheelbase of 2630 mm.
Offering around 300 horsepower (225 kW/306 PS) of power, VW’s Cross Coupé reaches a top speed of 137mph (220km/h) weighing 4,096 pounds.
